Refund & Returns Policy

1. PURPOSE

This Refund & Returns Policy (“Policy”) governs all return, refund, exchange, replacement, and cancellation requests for products purchased from Blackwell Group Inc. (“BGI,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

Due to the nature of the products offered—including non-lethal self-defense equipment, surveillance systems, and security-related items—returns are strictly limited and subject to the conditions outlined herein.


2. GENERAL RETURN POLICY

All sales are considered final unless explicitly eligible under this Policy.

Returns are accepted only when all eligibility requirements are met and prior authorization is granted by BGI.

BGI reserves the right to deny any return request at its sole discretion.


3. RETURN ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for a return, all of the following conditions must be satisfied:

  • Return request submitted within 30 days of confirmed delivery
  • Product is unused, unopened, and in original condition
  • Product is returned in original packaging with all components included
  • Product has not been installed, activated, configured, or modified
  • Return has been authorized in advance by BGI (RA required)

Failure to meet any of these conditions will result in denial of the return.


4. NON-RETURNABLE & NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law:

  • Opened or used self-defense products (including pepper spray, stun devices, or similar items)
  • Products removed from original packaging
  • Installed, configured, or activated surveillance equipment
  • Products with missing components or accessories
  • Clearance, final sale, or promotional items marked “non-returnable”
  • Custom-configured, special-order, or RFQ-based items
  • Bulk, commercial, or government procurement orders

These restrictions are enforced for safety, compliance, and regulatory reasons.


5. RETURN AUTHORIZATION (RA REQUIRED)

All returns require prior written authorization.

To initiate a return:

  • Contact: support@blackwellgroup.shop
  • Provide:
    • Order number
    • Reason for return
    • Supporting documentation (photos or evidence if applicable)

If approved, BGI will issue a Return Authorization (RA) and instructions.

Unauthorized returns will be:

  • Refused
  • Returned to sender at customer expense
  • Denied refund eligibility

6. RETURN SHIPPING & RISK OF LOSS

Unless due to BGI error:

  • Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Customer assumes full responsibility for return shipment

BGI is not liable for:

  • Lost, delayed, or damaged return shipments
  • Carrier-related issues during return transit

Customers are strongly advised to use trackable and insured shipping methods.


7. INSPECTION & REFUND DETERMINATION

All returned items are subject to inspection upon receipt.

BGI reserves the right to:

  • Approve or deny refunds based on condition
  • Apply restocking fees (where applicable)
  • Issue partial refunds for incomplete, damaged, or non-compliant returns

Approved refunds:

  • Will be issued to the original payment method
  • Processing time: 5–10 business days after inspection

8. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If an item is received:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Incorrect

The customer must notify BGI within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.

BGI may, at its sole discretion:

  • Replace the product
  • Provide a return shipping label
  • Issue a refund or store credit

Failure to report within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.


9. EXCHANGES

BGI does not guarantee direct exchanges.

If an exchange is requested:

  • The original item must be returned and approved
  • A new order may be required

Product availability is not guaranteed.


10. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Orders may only be canceled if:

  • They have not entered processing
  • They have not been transferred to a fulfillment partner

BGI reserves the right to:

  • Deny cancellation requests once fulfillment has begun
  • Apply administrative or processing fees where applicable

11. BULK, COMMERCIAL & GOVERNMENT ORDERS

All bulk, RFQ-based, commercial, and government transactions are subject to separate terms.

Unless explicitly stated in writing:

  • Such orders are non-refundable
  • Returns are not accepted
  • Warranty support may apply separately

12. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

Customers agree to contact BGI prior to initiating any chargeback or dispute.

Improper, fraudulent, or premature disputes may result in:

  • Denial of future service
  • Submission of documentation to payment processors
  • Recovery actions, including collection efforts where permitted by law

13. ORDER REFUSAL & RETURNED SHIPMENTS

If a shipment is:

  • Refused by the customer
  • Returned due to failed delivery
  • Undeliverable due to incorrect address

BGI may:

  • Deduct shipping and handling costs
  • Apply restocking or administrative fees
  • Issue partial refunds only

14. COMPLIANCE & SAFETY ENFORCEMENT

Due to the nature of products sold, BGI enforces strict return limitations to:

  • Maintain product safety and integrity
  • Comply with regulatory requirements
  • Prevent misuse or redistribution of controlled items

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BGI shall not be liable for:

  • Improper use of returned or purchased products
  • Loss of value due to opened or used items
  • Delays in processing returns or refunds
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

All return decisions are subject to BGI’s final review and approval.


16. COMPLIANCE-FIRST OPERATING STANDARD

BGI operates under a compliance-first framework.

We reserve the right to:

  • Deny returns
  • Refuse refunds
  • Restrict service

where safety, legal, or risk concerns are identified.


17. POLICY UPDATES

BGI reserves the right to modify or update this Policy at any time.

Changes become effective immediately upon posting.
